The duties and responsibilities of this committee include interpreting, presenting and explaining the various mission or stewardship programs of the Presbytery, the Synod and the General Assembly to the body of this Presbytery and to its churches, and to:

offer assistance and guidance to the churches of the Presbytery with their congregational stewardship efforts;
seek and develop resources and programs that help fund mission concerns;
establish, train and nurture a Presbytery wide network of "Mission Advocates," with representatives from each of the local churches, who will serve to inform their congregations about the mission work of the higher governing bodies of the PC(USA); and to discern and interpret the local mission program of the congregation;
communicate the thrust of the overall mission of the PC(USA) to the Presbytery;
