Evangelism and Church Growth

This committee has 9 members (4 clergy and 5 elders or laity).

The duties and responsibilities of this committee include creating opportunites for both clergy and laity to grow in their understanding of evangelism through a variety of programs, training seminars, workshops, conferences and retreats, and to:

  1. assist congregations, with the Presbyery, to establish programs of evangelism and Christian witness;
  2. seek, demonstrate and encourage creative ways and means to increase church and church school attendance;
  3. provide written, audiovisual and other resources for the churches of the Presbyery to use for evangelism within the Presbytery;
  4. create and maintain plans to help grow the membership for churches within the Presbytery and to make recommendations for the establish of new churches;
