Meeting: 4th Wednesday of January, March, May, June, September and November - 7:00 PM - Memorial Presbyterian Church, Wenonah

This committee has 6 members (3 clergy and 3 elders).

The duties and responsibilities of this committee shall be to examine the records of each church of the Presbytery, annually, and to:

  1. examine the records of certain churches, when the committee deems it necessary or in accord with the Rules of Discipline (D-3.0200);
  2. encourage excellence in church record keeping;
  3. insure conformity to the standards set forth in the Book of Order, for Clerks of Session concerning records and record keeping;
  4. refer to Presbytery Council, a list of those churches that do not comply with a request for records;
  5. refer to Presbytery Council any situations or circumstances existing within a local church which are brought to light from a review of such records and which the committee considers to be a matter for the consideration of the Presbytery in its oversight of the churches;
